F.A.Q. ANSWER

Here is the answer to your query:

How does virus-protection work?

Every e-mail account hosted by Circa 3000 is protected from most mail-borne viruses, worms and other exploits designed to compromise your computer's security, privacy and/or usefulness. This protection is provided to both inbound and outbound mail and cannot be disabled.

When a virus is detected, the infected message is immediately returned to the sender with an alert, suggesting corrective action. The intended recipient is NOT alerted.

Virus protection is provided as a free courtesy. No warranty of usefulness or effectiveness is implied. It is strongly recommended that you employ or continue to use quality virus-protection software on all of your computers and that you keep the respective virus definitions up-to-date. Consult your chosen virus-protection software vendor for details.
