Why do some list member addresses have brackets '<>' around them?

Brackets '<>' indicate that an address was added to your list via the e-mail interface and was not added manually by the list owner via the administrative webmail or Account Manager interfaces.

Brackets do not in any way affect the performance of your mailing list and are entirely optional. You may supply or remove brackets at will when updating list members in the webmail or Account Manager interfaces.
