Your ISP may be blocking your outbound e-mail. Please call the provider's technical support center and ask if they prohibit outbound mail through third-party mail servers. If so, the following options are available to you:
Use the ISP's recommended mail server for outbound mail but continue to use Circa 3000's mail servers for inbound mail. This way, our most valuable mail services, like virus scanning and spam filtering, will be available to your inbound mail where they are most important. You'll also be able to use our web-based mail options to receive AND send mail from your Internet browser.
Use the ISP's recommended mail servers exclusively, for both inbound and outbound mail delivery. This option is generally not recommended because few ISPs offer e-mail services as feature-rich as those offerred by Circa 3000.
Switch ISPs. If a convenient alternative is available, you might wish to change ISPs so that you can take full advantage of Circa 3000's advanced mail services (and other third-party mail services).
Why Do ISPs Block 3rd-Party Mail Servers? ISPs filter 3rd-party email to prohibit their customers from sending unsolicited bulk email (spam). Though effective, this broad-stroked tactic prohibits their customers from accessing Circa's email accounts, as well as other 3rd-party email services like Yahoo and HotMail's free email accounts.
